I haven’t posted on my blog much, sorry.

Not because I gave up. Actually, it’s been the opposite. I’ve been so busy working behind the scenes on ShopAshleyRae — fixing my website, adding things, learning as I go, trying to build my business, and still keeping up with regular life.

I’ll admit, it can be discouraging sometimes.

You put so much time, work, and heart into something, and then you look around and realize nobody has signed up yet. Nobody may even be reading the things you’re writing.

And for a second, that little voice creeps in: Is anybody ever going to care about this? Is this actually going to work?

But then I remind myself why I started.

I didn’t build ShopAshleyRae expecting everything to happen overnight. I’m building something that means something to me — affordable clothing, community support, recovery, second chances, and hopefully helping people along the way.

So even if nobody is reading this today, I’m still writing it.

Even if my page isn’t where I want it to be yet, I’m still working on it.

Even if things are moving slower than I hoped, I’m still moving.

I’ve learned enough about life and recovery to know that some of the biggest changes happen when nobody is watching. You just keep showing up, doing the next right thing, and trusting that all those little steps are eventually going to add up.

So that’s what I’m doing.

No giving up. No expecting perfection.

Just continuing to build, learn, grow, and believe in what I’m creating.

One day at a time. 💜
