As a recovering alcoholic, a mom of three, and a full-time college student studying Criminal Justice and Substance Abuse, I know how tough it can be to rebuild your life after setbacks.

In 2024, I faced a devastating relapse that forced me to start over. Recovery taught me that healing isn’t always about big, dramatic changes. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference—a clean outfit for a job interview, a care package during a rough patch, or simply knowing someone believes in you.
